So I’m a character. On a TV show. That’s what they tell me, anyway. Does that mean when the cameras weren’t rolling, I didn’t exist? What about the actor who played me? He has to be long dead, yet here I am. Funny how the universe lets things fall into place like that.

This apartment isn’t bad, but I miss my house, my friends, my car. However, one door closing means another one opening, so I open the door to new friends and embrace them. Hi there! My name is Charlie. Charlie Crews. Detective, LAPD. Guess there is no more LAPD though, what is it here, the BPD?

Also, anyone know where can I get some fresh fruit?

I would prefer not to think that we did not exist outside of the stories others have told of us. It would be somewhat depressing to think that so many of my most important memories were only a fabrication!
