This is a public service announcement for any guys who might end up with a Slayer for a roommate down the line.

Slayers have enhanced strength, speed, and fighting abilities.  We were born (and many of us have been trained) to kill vampires, demons, etc.  If you end up sharing quarters with a Slayer and happen to have the ability transform into or summon some sort of monster, it would be a REALLY GOOD IDEA to explain this to her in detail ASAP so she knows what the deal is. 

On the other hand, it would be a REALLY BAD IDEA to, for example, try and demonstrate your ability when she's still half asleep and busy cooking breakfast.  Because when a Slayer turns around and sees a demon-looking thing chilling out right behind her, it's seriously NOT going to end well.

Junpei, I'm really really REALLY sorry about your face.  Are you going to be okay?  Do you know who we should talk about replacing that chair?

First the festival booth and now this.  Can I please start this week over?

Yeah, they just told me to let it heal naturally. The bandage isn't so awesome, though.

It wasn't really smart of me either. I'm supposed to be protecting people, not hurting them. But I'll try.

It's kind of disconcerting the first time you see someone's Persona. And I guess if you're used to fighting things like that... He really should've warned you first. Junpei-san's a good person but he doesn't think things through very well.

I am! It's...not the best way to meet someone, but hopefully things will get better from here.

I'm still not really sure what a Persona IS. But yeah, it looked a little bit like the sort of stuff I had to fight back home. And it's kind of instinct to attack something like that that appears out of nowhere...

Junpei really is a nice guy. And he's the one who got hurt, so I'm not going to blame him for this.

I hope so too.

It's a little hard to explain...kind of like summoning up a representation of your soul, I guess you could call it. There were these monsters back home called Shadows, and summoning your Persona was the only way to fight them.

We all did some hitting things. Probably not as well as you, though! But we really wouldn't have been able to get far at all without our Persona.
