I guess I should be using this thing more. Start interacting with people without just talking machines. Guess I'm still waiting to wake up. Which is silly I know, but this place still doesn't seem real. I keep dreaming that those creepy Alliance guys have put me in one of those hospital places they had River in and this just some wacked out way to mess with my mind.

I miss Serenity. I haven't been on land for this long in years and the ground feels funny under my feet.

I miss Simon. It doesn't seem fair that I lose him just after I finally got him. Not that I think the verse is a fair place, I'm not that naive. But still.

Maybe I just need to spend some time in a place that isn't my room or the garage. Stop hiding with my machines.

Maybe I'll go make Mal make me a pretty cocktail.
