I'm sick of hearing about the goddamn babies.

I miss my neice. Beth Jr. It was a pain in the ass sometimes, getting from California to Kansas with a pregnant woman and then a baby that wasn't supposed to exist in tow. I mean, who knows when we might've fallen into the hands of another nun guarded by Ren Faire rejects who thought Beth's kid was the second coming. Christ, don't even get me started on the delivery. In the woods, hoping like hell no one would hear. You wanna talk about natural birth. All in all it took about four months, and then we picked up Ciba and her baby boy for the next leg.

I come from a place where the continuation of human life was even more desperate than it is here. I know why they're doing it. Sure, it may just piss some people off and make them more determined not to breed or whatever, but some of us are going to get attached and miss the kids when they're gone. From that perspective it's just kinda cruel.
