Gus, we're not exploiting anyone! We're helping! Come on, there are people here with completely amazing abilities -- do you think if I tried to help without any powers and without a badge they'd listen to a word I say? They would totally blow us off.

Think about it: when's the last time you read a comic or whatever and the totally normal guy in the background was the one to solve the case or kick bad guy butt? We're those totally normal guys, Gus! We're shaking things up! We're bucking the status quo!

Maybe this will help? I picked up some stuff from reading old entries. Okay: I know he's friends with Warren Mears, who I would call the biggest supervillain wannabe ever except that I'm pretty sure he's actually killed a couple of people. I'm also pretty sure he can build robots. Like, real ones. And there's another guy who can do magic. I think this one can too.

I'm not sure of the rest because they're also unbelievable nerds -- worse than you by far -- and my eyes glazed over halfway into the thread. Is any of this ringing any bells?
